We are looking for a highly experienced Cutting Room Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in pattern making, fabric cutting, and garment preparation, ensuring accuracy, speed, and quality in every job.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret patterns and markers to cut fabric with precision
• Ensure efficient fabric utilization and minimal wastage
• Oversee cutting room operations and workflow
• Prepare lay plans and manage fabric spreading
• Quality check fabric before and after cutting
• Work closely with the design, production, and sewing teams to meet deadlines
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a cutting room environment (minimum 3–5 years)
• Strong knowledge of pattern making and garment construction
• Ability to work with both manual and computerized cutting methods
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency
• Ability to lead and train assistants in the cutting room
• Strong time management and organizational skills
